On the wonderful island of Koh Lanta in Thailand, you will find a cooking class that you will never forget. ‘Chiang Mai Roi Thai’, located at the Lanta Riversand Resort, will offer you an authentic experience in Thai cooking. Cooking classes can often be quite expensive, and you might be grouped with 30 other people. At Chiang Mai Roi Thai, we had a private class for 5 people, at a very affordable rate. You can customize the class by choosing the dishes that you are interested in learning how to cook, not just the dishes selected for you by many other cooking schools.

Larb Moo is a minced pork dish (or chicken – Larb Gai) cooked with loads of herbs and lime juice and typically served with cabbage and other fresh vegetables.

Phat Pongaree is a famous Thai dish made with eggs, meat (or vegetables), and curry powder. The most popular way to make this dish is with crab, although it is also served as a street food with chicken, pork, or vegetables.

Gaeng Massaman is Thailand’s most well-known dish. Often described as the most difficult dish in the world to make due to the complicated process of preparing the curry paste. Massaman curry varies in style from Northern to Southern Thailand. Northern Thailand’s dish is heavily influenced by India and Myanmar, as is dark, thick, and rich, while the Southern variety is influenced from Malaysia, and often contains more coconut milk and pineapple.

Prik Thai Dum is a popular dish typically made with pork or chicken (although you can ask for vegetarian) and cooked with Thailand’s cracked black pepper sauce.
